incredible, rich,
and fascinating history

You may have heard before that Arabians have played a major role in the creation of practically every breed of horse on the planet. horoughbreds, Quarter Horses, Morgans and many more can thank the Arabian for their development.

Love people
and extremely personable

Many Arabians would prefer spending time around people than other horses. I believe this is due to their extreme intelligence and inquisitive nature. Being close to humans is something that dates WAY back with Arabians.

highly
intelligent and sensitive

These qualities can actually be misunderstood, and can appear to be faults of the breed. Because of their heightened intelligence, they will not accept blatant force, or submit to demands. This is actually what makes working with Arabians so rewarding.

About Al-Thawary
Stud

Al-Thawary Stud, founded in 1991 by Elsheikh Fahd , is dedicated to the breeding and selection of the very best Arabians.

The farm is located in the heart of the beautiful Saqqara in cairo, Egypt.

First were the arabians. Elsheikh Fahd fell in love with the breed when he purchased the first family riding horse, and curiously “she” was an arabian white fleabitten mare called (Name).

After her, we started a breeding program with three mares purchased from the famous farms in egypt and middle east.

With the time, we have introduced new bloods in our breeding program. We have used stallions like Almesk Almosy (All Nations Cup Champion and Reserve World Champion), Gana Elgamel (champion and sire of champions), Negmet al kamel (2005 Spanish National Champion and Best Head at 2001 World Championship) and many others amazing stallions as Salman Albaydaa, Hanin Alaa, Wardat Almearag And of course, our homebred young rising stallions Salman Albaydaa (male x female) and Hanin Alaa (male x female). And many more top producer stallions to come!

All our babies are raised together with their mothers in the big fields that the family owns in the most productive part of the Farm.

There they grow strongly and happily. After, they are weaned and they continue their developing together with their mates, during the day outside in big paddocks and during the night they sleep in the box.

Later, they are trained for show or for dressage, depending on their attributes and prospectives.

This thorough job and an extreme quality control makes possible we can offer our clients a high quality collection for show, breeding and sport.
